“You are what your deepest desire is.
As is your desire, so is your intention.
As is your intention, so is your will.
As is your will, so is your deed.
As is your deed, so is your destiny.”

--- Brihadaranyaka Upanishad
A Bit About Me
Hi, this is Prativa. Welcome to my webpage. I am a researcher, philosopher, and optimist at core. I have some eligibility for cooking up decent food and stories. When bored, I entertain myself with crooked singing and Bollywood dancing. Also a keen student of Indic history, astrology, and astronomy.

Professionally, I am a computational chemist.
We utilize computer simulations and mathematical models to study chemical problems instead of doing lab experiments.
We predict how molecules behave and chemical reactions happen, and even design new catalysts and materials using powerful software and algorithms.
We typically work on:
-
Calculating molecular structures and energies
-
Simulating chemical reactions
-
Designing new age drugs or materials
-
Understanding catalysis or enzyme functions
-
Modeling quantum mechanics or molecular dynamics
Computational chemistry helps us to understand
"What would happen if..." without needing to physically test every possibility in a lab, saving time, money, and even discovering things that are impossible to measure directly.
